Hours Full-time
Shift rotating; includes weekends and call
Education/Training Graduate from approved School of Radiologic Technology. Member of AART or registry eligible (AART certification must be fulfilled within 6 months of start of employment). Pursues on-going continuing education relevant to position.
Experience Minimum would be experience gained in a 2 year accredited RT program.
Job Knowledge: Must show competency in all aspects of radiography as it applies to all age groups and as deemed appropriate by Clinical Supervisor or Chief of Radiology. Also, in accordance with established performance standards individual must demonstrate competency in the care of patients of these various age groups; infancy, childhood, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
Description: Provides patient service by performing radiographic procedures, on all age groups, using existing imaging equipment. Exercises professionalism and applies principles of radiation protection in the performance of such procedures. Provides essential patient care and is knowledgeable of life support measures. Support the activities of the Clinical supervisor and possible serve in a "backup" capacity in his/her absence.
