This annual golf tournament will take place at Koronis Hills Golf Club in Paynesville.

September 11 , 2008: Share the Spirit Educational Retreat

The 2008 Rice Hospice Retreat will take place at the Willmar Holiday Inn Conference Center. The guest speaker will be LeAnn Thieman, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books. Thieman is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and nurse. She inspires audiences to balance their lives, live their priorities and make a difference in the world. She has struggled through extraordinary circumstances and found the courage to succeed.

The retreat begins at 8:00 am and closes at 3:30 pm. Register early for $60 per person - registration form must be postmarked by Aug. 28, 2008. After that date, registration fee is $80 per person. Registration includes materials, lunch and refreshments. Space is limited, so please register by Sep. 4, 2008. Last year's retreat reached a near-maximum number of 333 participants. Hospice personnel, critical care staff, clergy, volunteers, nurses, physicians, social workers, nursing home staff, clinic personnel, and other interested persons may benefit from this workshop, which is suggested for anyone who works with people.

September 15, 20008: 4th Annual Rehabilitation, Education & Equipment Fair

This Fair is sponsored by Rice Home Medical and will run from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on Monday, September 15. Earn CEUs. The featured presenter will be Sharon Pratt with Invacare Corporation, on "Seating for Function & Mobility." Lunch provided.
