Has your nurse made a difference?
Each year, Rice sponsors a contest called "My Nurse Made the Difference" which gives our patients, residents, and their loved ones an opportunity to express their appreciation to the nurses who made a difference in their lives.
Tell us how your Rice nurse made the difference for you or your loved one. First prize is a $150 savings bond for the nurse and the person who nominated the nurse.
Nomination letters are due March 26, 2012.

Changing technology to improve patient care
Rice implemented a new electronic health record system to improve how we care for patients. As a result, check-in and other record-taking activities may take a little extra time.
Thank you for your patience during this change.
Our new electronic health record system helps us care for you by giving your healthcare team:
A full view of your health history;
Faster access to lab and test results;
Built in patient safety features;
