This is a free discussion group for stroke survivors and their caregivers. It’s held the third Monday of each month in Lakeland Auditorium, on the lower level of the Lakeland Health Building (across from Rice Memorial Hospital.)
Each month features a new guest speaker and discussion topic. Free refreshments are served, and no registration necessary.
Whether you’re a stroke survivor yourself, or the caregiver of a stroke survivor, you are not alone. Meeting with others who understand what you’re going through can help you through the recovery process.
In addition to providing social opportunities, support groups promote wellness by helping members with making difficult decisions, problem solving and locating local resources.
