Willmar Regional Cancer Center is pleased to announce the addition of Oncologist / Hematologist, Ewa Wysokinska, M.D., starting in November 2013.
Dr. Wysokinska earned her Medical Degree from Wroclaw Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency with Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN and is currently completing her Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship in the Department of Oncology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Wysokinska will join Willmar Regional Cancer Center as a Hematologist-Oncologist this November. A hematologist-oncologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and/or prevention of blood diseases and cancers such as iron-deficiency anemia, hemophilia, sickle-cell disease, leukemia and lymphoma. She is trained in hematology, the study of blood, and oncology, the study of cancer.
