Although the weather outside was frightful, the Willmar Regional Cancer Center welcomed more than 350 visitors during three separate open house time periods for staff, patients and their families, and the community.
Visitors were able to meet cancer center staff, ask questions, and learn about their roles in providing treatments and cancer care for patients in our region.
They could also tour the newly integrated center that combined chemotherapy services from Affiliated Community Medical Center with radiation oncology services from Rice Memorial Hospital. |

Private/semi-private rooms are available to patients receiving chemotherapy who would like quiet time with family members or reflective time to themselves. |
There are eight rooms that provide private/semi-private care. |

| Beautiful and serene artwork by area artists complement the healing environment provided at the center. |
Many people prefer the support and camaraderie of other patients and choose this room to receive their chemotherapy treatments. |
Each patient receiving chemotherapy chooses the treatment area that best meets their needs on that particular day. |
