Why choose Rice Care Center?
We provide a continuum of care from hospital to home, whether you plan on returning home or making Rice Care Center your new home.
Your nursing staff is here 24 hours every day to make sure that your medical care needs are met. A registered nurse care manager oversees your care coordination with your doctor. The nursing staff takes pride in knowing each resident. We care for you in the best way possible because we know you, your goals, and your needs.
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) help you with your medications and monitor you for pain. Nursing Assistants can help with bathing, dressing, eating, and many other daily tasks. They are always respectful and considerate, allowing you to do as much as you can for yourself.

"Stitched With Love"
The staff at Rice Care Center shared their time and talents to make a Dignity Quilt which is used as a drape for residents who have passed on as they are wheeled to the hearse. It is part of the ritual to honor the person who has died.
The Dignity Quilt was pieced by staff members JoNell Hanson, Rose Newhouse, Karen Sietsema, and Beverly Jones, and quilted by Connie Peters. Julie Olson of Hugs and Stitches Quilts designed the quilt pattern.
