What is
a therapeutic massage?
- Massage is the manipulation
of the soft tissues of the body, with the hands, done for therapeutic intent.
- There are many kinds
of massage therapy:

- Esalen
- Shiatsu
- Sports massage
- Neuromuscular techniques
- Others

Rehabilitation Center is a combination of Swedish and Esalen massage done
for the purpose of stress reduction and relaxation.
What are the benefits
of massage?

What is a massage like?
- The client will be asked
to come in 15 minutes early for the first massage to complete a short health
history and consent form.
- The massage therapist
needs to know important information, such as which medications the client
may be taking and what conditions he/she may have, so that the massage can
be received safely.
- The massage takes place
in a private room.
- The client can choose
to remove as much clothing as he/she is comfortable with, and rest on a padded,
heated massage table.
- The client will be covered
with a sheet and blanket to protect personal privacy and provide warmth.
- The massage therapist
will only undrape the part of the body being massaged.
- The client needs to let
the therapist know if he/she is experiencing any discomfort during the massage.
- The client can be assured
the massage is done in a safe, caring and respectful environment.

- 45 minutes = $35.00
- 60 minutes = $45.00
