The Social Services at Rice Rehab provide consultation to clients receiving therapy services at Rice Rehab. The Social Services at Rice Rehab also assist both clients and their families with a variety of issues affecting their personal lives and medical recovery.

Social Services at Rice Rehab include:

Crisis Intervention/Crisis Counseling involves the social worker discussing with the family the immediate needs of the client and providing consultation to put the necessary services into play as soon as possible.

Through Insurance Assistance, options of insurances and methods of payment are discussed. In addition, the social worker can inform the client about the application process for financial medical assistance.

In a Depression Assessment, the social worker meets with the client and concerned family or friends to discuss the client's current mental health status and services that would be beneficial.

Psychological Assessments at Rice Rehab provide the necessary testing and evaluations to assess the client's mental health status and needs.

The Staff at RRC also seek to provide support to both the client and family and to act as a resource to listen to their needs and concerns.

Referring the client to additional resources and services in the community that could be beneficial, is also a part of the social services at Rice Rehab.

Brief Therapy and Counseling for the client and/or family on personal issues is also available through Rice Rehab.
