Meet Kris Kok, Rice Hospital RN, and her daughter Lauren Grace, who was born September 10, 2008, at Rice Memorial Hospital. "One thing that I really liked about having our baby in a birthing suite is that I got to stay in the same room the whole time," says Kris. "The room was large and the whirlpool was great. Our out-of-town friends and family were very impressed with the room and the unit as a whole."
