Respiratory Care

Respiratory Care Staff provide effective, safe, efficient Respiratory Care, Ventilator Care, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Consultation, Teaching, CPR, plus Diagnostic Testing. The Diagnostic Testing includes: Sleep Disorders, Holter Monitoring, Pulmonary Function Testing, Oximetry, EKGs and EEG's.

The Respiratory Care Department at Rice Memorial Hospital is staffed 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Respiratory Care staff provide care in all patient care areas within the hospital. Respiratory Care staff operate on 8 hour work schedules. Respiratory Therapists are nationally credentialed and are skilled in assessing and decision making when dealing with cardiopulmonary problems.
